Trempealeau Municipal Utilities serves residents of the Village of Trempealeau for Water.  Water systems across the state of Wisconsin are currently working toward compliance with the federal 2021 Lead and Copper Rule Revisions (LCRR).  This tracking is important to ensure that aging materials do not jeopardize clean water for residents.  Through a combination of Village records, Cross Connection inspections, and self reporting, the Village is on track to become compliant before the federal deadline.

The Department of Natural Resources is requiring all municipalities with Public Water systems to report this information.  With aging systems in many cities it is imperative to track safe drinking water.

We need phone numbers submitted with the form in order to make sure that all our data is accurate.  Personal information will not be included in the DNR report, however, if we have a question about your submission, it is the quickest way to have it answered.

The Village records contain a ban on lead pipes. If there are any uknowns in your reporting we can use this date to verify against Village records.

The deadline is May 30th.  If property owners fail to self report by that time, employees of the Village will have to set up appointments to enter your home to verify the interior materials.
