Curbside Chipping of Tree Limbs & Brush
This Village chipping service is available to our residents from April through October each year. It is intended as a public service to help dispose of limbs and brush associated with light pruning and trimming NOT for entire tree removal projects or clearing building sites or “woods” around a property. Property owners abusing this service will be contacted and requested to contact a professional tree service business for disposal of their limbs and brush.
Brush collection will be the FIRST Tuesday of the month, weather permitting. Please register for pick-up by sending name, address and location of brush pile to : pschindler@trempealeauwi.com or call & leave a message at (608) 534-6434 ext. 101.
You must register by 3pm on Monday before pick-up day. Brush will not be collected without prior registration.
Pile must be placed for pick-up by 7am.
Brush pile size set on the curb will be limited to a height of no more than 3′ and a width of no more than 15′. Tree limbs and brush should be under 10″ in diameter, no longer than 6′ with a 3′ wide span and set out in a near pile on the public boulevard with largest cut ends facing the nearest public street.
If brush is not properly prepared or too large, Village may refuse to pick-up.
This Village program is NOT associated with the paid curbside recycling and garbage service provided to Village residents through Hilltopper.
Christmas Trees are collected curbside through the month of January. All ornaments, lights, bags and stands must be removed.
