Notice to Water Utility Customers

TMU is providing public notice of an upcoming water rate adjustment. The average residential customer will see an increase of approximately $1.50 per month. The Water Utility experienced operating losses in the past two years; however, due to adequate cash reserves, immediate action was not required. TMU will now be submitting a simplified rate case, which allows for a modest increase through a streamlined process. We will continue to monitor financial performance throughout the year to determine whether a full rate case or another small, inflationary adjustment is warranted in the future.
